Graduate of the Week

Zeus

Zeus is a very talkative little man that loves to try and be the boss of everyone!
He has been loving his training, learning how walk on lead, sit stays and most importantly learning how to play nicely with the other dogs. We are very proud to name Zeus Graduate of the Week!

Tex

This is TEX, the 5 year old spoodle with bundles of energy to burn! He loves to play with his people friends and dog friends alike, and he rarely stops!

He’s a very much loved and looked after boy, and he keeps his owners on their toes! Tex’s parents have opted for some Home Dog Training after his Training Course to work on some other issues. Apparently, he barks a lot when visitors arrive, and will make the most out of the opportunity to get out of an open door! Tex will build on the obedience skills he gained at Hanrob, and learn to obey when his parents ask him to come back!

Tex’s larger than life spoodle personality has won over the Trainers and Staff alike, and we are proud to have him as our GRADUATE OF THE WEEK.

Winnie

If there was a picture in the dictionary next to cute, it would be WINNIE’S. She is the 9 month pug with a “personality that packs a punch” (Quote by Winnie’s Mum).

When Winnie arrived, she was quivering, very affectionate and looked up at us with deep, soulful eyes. We thought we would focus our training on her confidence, but within a week, the true Winnie emerged: energetic, playful and very boisterous!! We soon learned why she came to us for some training!!

Winnie’s mum told us that she loved to destroy any kind of brush (hair, dustpan; whatever she could find!) and her favourite snacks are carrots!! She certainly is an individual and too cute for her own good!

During her stay, Winnie has been learning how to better control her emotions. She’s learning that there is a time for play, and a time for behaving! She’s also learning to look up to her trainer, a skill we will need to transfer to her mum when Winnie goes home!

Winnie has swept the Hanrob Staff off their feet, and it was impossible not to name her this week’s GRADUATE OF THE WEEK!

Duke

Meet Duke, the 10 year old Kelpie Cross with a tough outlook but a heart as good as gold.

Duke can put on a mean show, but he gives the most affectionate doggy cuddles we’ve ever had!! He wouldn’t like us telling you this, but he’s really just a big softy!

Duke’s mum was having a bit of trouble keeping Duke’s protective side under control. With such a special bond with his mum, Duke had forgotten that he was a dog!! During his stay here at Hanrob, he has been slowly remembering his Doggy Roots and reacquainting himself with proper Doggy Manners. He’s also learning about Doggy Etiquette while playing with other dogs, which is quite a novel idea for him.

Duke has proved that old dogs really CAN learn new tricks and we’re very proud to name him as our extra-special
Graduate of the Week!

Myfanwy

Myfanwy (or Myffi as she's become known here at Hanrob) is a gorgeous 2 year old English Bull Terrier. There's nothing she loves more than to snuggle into her blankets and have cuddles, but she indulgers us with a playful run if we ask nicely!

Miffi came in for Training as she was pulling on the lead and kept running away from her Mum. She's come a long way during her intensive training, and has been doing some excellent sit-stays and recalls.

We're very proud to name Myfanwy GRADUATE OF THE WEEK!
