Our Dog Training School is an intensive 18 day live-in training course. This course is perfect to set a strong foundation for your dog’s behaviour, socialisation and general obedience. It’s a great solution for families who are too busy to put the time in to set these foundations or whilst on holidays or need your dog boarded, take advantage of the board and train combination.
During this training program your dog will be assigned a personal trainer who will develop a positive and trusting relationship with your dog.
Your dog’s daily training routine consists of various training sessions with your personal trainer and other trainers (male/female) to ensure the dog associates behaviour and obedience training with a variety of people and ensures an easier transition from Hanrob to the owner. Your dog participates in weekly assessments to measure his or her performance throughout the program. This provides you with an insight into your dog’s growth and development.
We maintain a daily diary of your dog’s progress and to ensure you have a good understanding of your dog’s training and skill level your personal trainer will conduct a one on one training session on departure. This gives you the opportunity to receive feedback of your dog’s progress, discuss any additional specific requirements and learn what to expect on arrival home with your newly trained dog. It is our aim to provide you with techniques to make the transition as smooth as possible and prevent your dog from returning to old habits.
To help with the transition home we provide Free Follow Up Training at our facilities or alternatively you can select the Home Dog Training Follow Up option which enables you to derive the greatest benefit from your dog’s training. This ensures your dog maintains its level of training and addresses any difficulties or problems you may encounter from time to time.
Having completed the Dog Training School, your dog will now have a sound understanding of basic obedience exercises. Your dog now knows what behaviours will bring success and acceptance.
